Pre-Deadline Polish Pass

I ran some playtesting and I found that the two primary things players had difficulty with were the default light duration and the lack of clarity in getting started. These are things I addressed. The other big issue players mentioned was wanting the option to control the torch in order to conserve its use. I decided not to include this as I didn't want to add new controls or complicate the design in a simplicity themed jam.

I opted to double the amount of steps you can take with a torch by default. This coupled with torch stacking, most players should have sufficient light to effectively explore the map.

The controls are simple, as the name of the jam suggests, but I opted to include some basic instructions at the start of the run, telling you what you need to do and how you control your character. At this point, I feel this is sufficient without breaking the simplicity of the game.

The only other major change was adding controller support. It was easy to do, but I didn't think about it. I had a friend over and the controller was the first thing he asked about, so I punched it in real quick. If you play with a PS or XBox controller, you'll do better with the d-pad. The stick works, but sometimes it moves too quickly for you to read the messaging during the tutorial or when hitting a node.

I'm currently in another jam and my semester at work and school both end this week, so this will be the last feature update. I like the idea and could see doing something similar for a larger scale game, but I won't be building from this basis. Unless someone finds a game breaking bug, it isn't likely I'll be supporting this further.
